The Apocalypse--A Revelation ... Chapter Thirty-Five (first draft)

In the library, before Sabrina's father's clock struck eight
She, Wayne, and Kim navigated Fourteen Hours (1951) - With Greek Subtitles, a movie ending with neither of them elated, but sedated.

Briefly sat they in dim room, gloomy, with a fire warm lit
delving into real reasons why this young man seemingly fit
in 1951, would teeter on a ledge unsure as to jump or not
as a crowd plumed below concerned or curious
his yearn to show: abdicate to duress or staunchly endure.

Some just wanting him over it to get
lickity split so they could watching quit.
Go merrily or not on their way grabbling
with their own bull and its nose ring as bit.

Although, many do wonder: How to envision a life worthy of day-to-day endurance when not given direction or any assurance? Or not of themselves driven.

Yes, this young man loved a girl.
But crippled he was emotionally spoiled
by parents once young, too in love
though selfishness stilled a budding bloom
as a once dewy rose to brittle doomed
or plucked as grooming or slowly to unfurl.

Parental hateful words and actions daily shown
unable to convince their son now grown
that each glorious sunrise is worth appreciatively viewing
with someone capable of forgiving
with a generosity of spirit constantly renewing.

This Sabrina's heart hurt
sore for he and Wayne pressurized to berserk
while Kim grabbed a book from a top shelf
to read a poem for both Sabrina and Wayne
to self explore:

^My Son

My Son, desired a wife to seek?
True search your heart if groomed for two.
If thoughts of you always do peak
then settle now till selfish through.

If traveling through a narrow gate
your skip is light and so refined
then you must choose to navigate
alone, not sad, your state of mind.

Do not attempt to she adjoin
if conversation is a bore.
For love to her is more than loin.
Yet, after lust you'd her abhor.

Yes, train a dog to fetch for you.
Satisfied with lackluster pat.
A cat self-contained too would do.
And buy yourself a welcome mat.

But if inclined to share some bread,
yes, lay a blanket in a field,
then ask her dreams as buttered spread.
Then 'ring' to claim delightful yields.

Partnered now plans do ensue.
Her thoughts held high; of consequence.
Though headship, yes, is Godly due,
Love her as you--in deference.

A three-fold cord is gold desired.
Prayer a tool of valued worth.
Joined meals, relationship inspired,
blooms trust, respect. Contentment birthed.

My Son, desired a wife to seek?
True search your heart if groomed for two.
If thoughts of her always do peak
then settle down till death pursues.

"So what do you think?" Kim asks
leaning upon a pillow before the fire she did bask.
"Isn't that a lovely poem?"

I know where these thoughts of her were born,
Sabrina thinks. The jumpers' fiancee in puzzled love.
A little forlorn.
As Wayne agreed:

"Yes, marriage can be a mistake
if both aren't ready to partake."

Her mother Kim now in quiet reverie.

After the three's further movie discussion
Kim excused herself to needed productions
promising to return with tea and sweets
before Wayne of necessity would to home retreat.

He to Sabrina's sofa moved to share
their space, their words, sweet loving care
although her thoughts were of concern
because of the movie
plus more facts from Wayne's father learned.

"Wayne."

"Hummm" he said
without raising from her shoulder his cuddled head.

"The purposed jumper gave me a fright.
Do you think many would believe his actions were right?"

"No... He was just out of his mind.
A little medicine may have helped his kind."

"Yes, this is true. But before being diagnosed
this is what many depressed consider to do."

Slowly Wayne raises his dark eyes
into Sabrina's brain to pry.

"Sabrina, do you think I am depressed?"

"Oh no!... But after meeting your father
I am deeply stressed."

Wayne lifts her fingers to his lips
gave each tip a tiny kiss
as he insists:

"Don't worry your beautiful face.
Don't think with me you'll ever fall out of grace.

My father has for me a special place.
But as far as romance is concerned
he'll give me my space."

Inwardly Sabrina disagreed
for his special place frightened her.
For Wayne's father she felt dealt in wicked deeds.

And if he wanted Wayne to in this world succeed
then Wayne too must in darkness stealthily proceed.

"I'm glad, Wayne.
Any other way and I'd be sad
although in my study I'd read to be further spiritually fed
so as resist satanic dangers in this earth bred:

"For you have become a stronghold to the lowly,
A stronghold to the poor in his distress,
A refuge from the rainstorm,
And a shade from the heat.
When the blast of the tyrants is like a rainstorm against a wall". Isaiah 25:4

"Isn't that a lovely picture and promise from Jah
instead of worrying about coming anxious days ahead?"

Wayne simply smiled.

Sabrina jumped up,

"Oh!... I almost forgot to read today's text!"
grabbing her phone
on the verse and comment to really again reflect
so that Wayne, who's probably delinquent, can detect
the importance of daily reading.

Of which he probably isn't, she did suspect.

"Do you mind?" Sabrina asks, ignoring his sigh.

"No." He sits up real slow
as Sabrina pretends he's eager to know.

"The love the Christ has compels us."—2 Cor. 5:14 she reads.
Then with the comment proceeds:

Paul realized that we could not accept the extraordinary love of Christ without being compelled, or moved, to live for him.

When our minds fully comprehend what Jehovah has done for us and our hearts are moved by his love, we desire to live our lives whole-souled for Christ Jesus.

How do we show that desire?

Those who love Jehovah are compelled to imitate Christ’s example, following his steps closely. 1 Pet. 2:21; 1 John 2:6

Through our obedience,
we prove our love for God and Christ.

Jesus said:

“Whoever has my commandments and observes them is the one who loves me. In turn, whoever loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him.” John 14:21; 1 John 5:3

So ask yourself:

‘In what areas am I doing well in following in the steps of Christ Jesus?

In what areas could I improve?’

This self-examination is vital, as we are constantly being pressured to follow the ways of this world.—Rom. 12:2. w16.01 2:7-9

"Wow!... This information today we can really use.
Don't you agree, Wayne?"

"Definitely... Sabrina, tell your mother Kim her company I enjoyed.
I just forgot something of which my father of me employed."
He stated as he quickly rose.

"I'd better get done before he really explodes."

He leaned over to her mouth gently kiss
as Sabrina turned her head for him to miss.

She looked up to catch his frown
mimicking hers before her eyes dropped down.

She wanted to cry
because she felt herself losing him.
Not wanting him to die.

Wayne's fathers' demands will end in Wayne's death
for she saw the recent associates of which he kept.

Sabrina wondered where her old Wayne went.

She spent the night in her window seat
with her spine bent in prayer for each new day
Jah Wayne in generosity too lent.

Hoping that somehow he'd come to his senses.
Remembering Proverbs 24:21:

"My son, fear Jehovah and the king.
And do not associate with dissenters"... TO BE CONT'D
