As the music played,
as she sang lovely words true
with other friends as extended family
in her congregation dear
as weekly they do
words made particularly clear
like removing a veil
even if it'd been delicate plus sheer:
"Make Sure of the More Important Things"

Sabrina could not help but think of Wayne
as lately she stewed about his traveling crew.
With Kim now by her side
singing a bit off key with innocent pride
she knew her strong father
would've likely wanted to internally cry
because of her progression.
Why did he have to suddenly die?
Now, Sabrina's joy is further dampened
by Wayne's drifting on murky waters
in a fog
not lovely
which she hated
causing his regression.
He'd come to abide with associates
whose true motives were masked
behind soiled hands they did hide
as late hours in darkness were chosen to ride
Wayne had slipped in conversation
Sabrina to mention. This he not wanting to confide.
Sure his group laughed together in fun.
Wayne before them self-assured as 'the one'
popular for a wisp of a wind.
Before another breeze blows another wisp
for this wisp 'the one' to become.
But when did he display to them
his spiritual side she'd come to love?
Is she one mistaken?
Has he taken a stand against his Father above?
Is his integrity gone? Tragically forsaken?
Now is not the time. Especially with headlines like:
Missing Illinois bartender Kaitlyn Kearns found shot dead*
with a single bullet to her head.
As the article read:
""Detectives believe that there is no threat to the community and that Kaitlyn was the intended target of this homicide," the sheriff's office said in a written statement."
Understood.
Yet, maybe her loved ones are still sad.
Maybe not too concerned right now
about the safety of their community instead.
These are Sabrina's thoughts as she takes her seat
to be further spiritually nourished. Mentally fed.
Soon, the Watchtower conductor selects a hand to read
Psalm 25:14:
"Close friendship with Jehovah belongs to those who fear him,
And he makes his covenant known to them."
Then, Proverbs 3:32: "For Jehovah detests a devious person,
But His close friendship is with the upright."
Sabrina prayed fervently
this Wayne would also heed
although, not believing he'd act with any speed to change his path
since probably not attending his meetings regularly
where he'd find companions to inspire him in life-saving eternal deeds.
Avoiding wisely The Almighty's coming just wrath.
A little later the congregation further discussed Proverbs 6:17-19:
"There are six things that Jehovah hates;
Yes, seven things that he detests:
Haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart plotting wicked schemes,
and feet that run quickly to evil,
A false witness who lies with every breath,
And anyone sowing contentions among brothers.""
Admonished in later paragraphs to:
"Put crooked speech away from you,
And keep devious talk far away from you.
Your eyes should look straight ahead,
Yes, fix your gaze straight ahead of you.
Smooth out the course of your feet,
And all your ways will be sure.
Do not incline to the right or the left.
Turn your feet away from what is bad." Pro. 4:24-27.
So as to not to be as mentioned:
"Brothers, do not become young children in your understanding, but be young children as to badness; and become full-grown in your understanding." 1 Co. 14:20.
We must progress in our spiritual comprehension.
Sabrina wanted to weep
thinking Wayne now spiritually asleep.
But the meeting was also for her to keep awake
Jah's righteousness to seek
as she again stood to sing
a song bearing a repeat:
Make Me Know Your Ways

to the Almighty forever daily to cling.
Avoiding an easy pathway
lined with treason and deceit.
Will her loyalty to her Creator
cause her to break away from Wayne
as he transverses a violent

replete with vices or drugs within reach
as maybe done with 'Lil Peep'^?... TO BE CONT'D

Look! How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!—Ps. 133:1.
It is understandable that we might feel some affection for the land, the culture, the language, and the food of the country we were raised in. However, we must avoid the “mine is best” attitude. For our pleasure, Jehovah has created great variety in all things. (Ps. 104:24; Rev. 4:11) So why insist that one way of doing things is superior to another? God wants people of all sorts to come to an accurate knowledge of truth and to enjoy everlasting life. (John 3:16; 1 Tim. 2:3, 4) Open-mindedness toward a diversity of acceptable ideas enriches us and protects our Christian unity. As we maintain our loyalty to Jehovah, we must avoid involvement in the world’s controversies. Partisan allegiances have no place among us. How thankful we are to Jehovah for freeing us from the divisive, prideful, competitive practices that dominate Satan’s world! w15 7/15 3:17, 18
