Sabrina felt a heat rise
as if ablaze with fire
racing up her spine.
(Quickly glancing at a flame in her father's grate
struggling to stay lit during this stressful time.)
But calmly she sat
gazing into her mother's beautiful
concerned face
grateful that humans
cannot read hearts.
Since Jeremiah 17:10 said:
"I, Jehovah, am searching the heart,
Examining the innermost thoughts,
To give to each one according to his ways,
According to the fruitage of his works."
But more importantly today
Kim cannot peer into Sabrina's shocked
mind as a trickle of sweat between her breast raced.
Thank you, Jah!
that only you and your Son
hold this glorious ability
to judge everyone's
most intimate space
with mercy and kindness
loyal love
in this world growing more difficult to find
as it becomes increasingly cold
except for brief moments
during duress
from a joined tragedy
in which families, friends or strangers
find themselves
helpless.
"For we know that all creation keeps on groaning together
and being in pain together until now." Romans 8:22 explains.
Mentally or physically
confined
pinned under
or chained to death
dealt suddenly without escape
is how
as to all races and stations
of equality,
though,
thought not
since imperfect humankind
oftentimes forgets
impartiality.
Yet,
"God is not partial,
but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Acts 10:34, 35 states.
However, men in total selfishness
arrogantly
towards the grave still unwillingly traipses
as do all people in this unfortunate commonality.
To the grave
fast or slow.
No human, not even dad could stop
this train even though
it
brilliant minds strenuously fight
collectively
to at least pause it
or briefly it hesitate.
Even though anger escalates this situation
into more violence bestowed around our globe
still
"The eyes of Jehovah are everywhere,
Watching both the bad and the good." Proverbs 15:3
helps us to see.
"Jehovah examines the righteous one
as well as the wicked one;" and
"He hates anyone who loves violence." Psalm 11:5
warns us.
Insatiably, unbelievers choose to participate
they shun us
until the time of which the Reigning King
to his obedient disciples did relate:
“Go in through the narrow gate,
because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it;
whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it." In a coming day soon
making salvation too late.
Now Wayne has gone and made it more difficult
for Kim, recently examining a book ancient
when initially Sabrina or her father with her
could not even this discussion initiate.
Sabrina's expression
puzzled with grace
asked Kim:
"Did Wayne stop by to see me?"
Where was I if he visited my place?
"Actually, no... Not here.
He stopped by my job.
Said he was checking on someone hurt
who was last night mugged, then robbed."
Robbed?... Hurt?... Just who would that be?
"And he took this time to converse with you about me?"
Sabrina found this unsettling
to the ultimate degree.
Kim got up to fan the flame
as Sabrina pondered Wayne's
confidentially, or lack of secrecy's
game.
Not that he actually had a reason
any tongue to keep.
She hadn't time to tell him
to keep the lid on the subject
until after finals. Or the elders curiosity to peak.
Which ever came first.
Although, Sabrina wanted to discuss their commitment further
before leaking their engagement
especially to with Kim
daughter to mother
respectfully to speak.
Not that she thought
Kim would talk about waiting till past
the scriptures mentioned 'bloom of youth'.
She just knew Kim's
concern may be regarding
Wayne providing solid proof
of love in sincerity and honest truth.
Things she agreed with
and would handle just fine
if given a moment with Wayne
their relationship to define.
But he chose to disclose their arrangement
at an inappropriate time
under a suspicious roof.
She so wanted him here to implore
but with him present
her heart would soar to twinkling stars
amid darkening skies.
Believe a whole universe
theirs to travel
to explore.
Yet, when behind her personal door
doubts wouldn't knock.
They'd burst through without warning
beating her senseless
not begging for more. Relentless.
Left troubled
emotionally sore.
Kim again sat at Sabrina's feet.
Grabbed hold of her ankles
began to silently weep.
"Sabrina, why didn't you tell me
of your known destination after death
to heaven?
I thought we'd meet your father again
on earth together
as a family forever."
Sabrina in horror too began to cry.
Yet inside her head
circled: Why, Wayne?... Why?
Especially, since Kim did not know this to pry.
She'd rather have dealt with an engagement conversation
then try to explain to a new bible student
her mother
about ascending to the Father
as part of 'Abraham's seed'.
As Kim needed to learn to spiritually walk
before she could comfortably proceed
Theocratically to fly... TO BE CONT'D.
