FOCUS

Focus

As a horse running its race with blinders.
As a cat about to leap over a large space.
As a scientist peers through a microscope.
As a marathon runner keeping apace.
As a diver with limited oxygen.
As a astronaut headed to the moon.
As an ant ardently gathers his food.
As one believes Armageddon to arrive soon.
As a searcher of ones buried under debris.
As a teacher in a student believes.
As a balancer on a high trapeze.
As a worshipper who wants his Creator to please.

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If, then, your eye is focused, your whole body will be bright.

But if your eye is envious, your whole body will be dark.

If the light that is in you is really darkness, how great that darkness is!" Matt. 6:22, 23.

“No one can slave for two masters;

for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other.

You cannot slave for God and for Riches. Matt.6:25.

“Keep on, then, seeking
first

the Kingdom and his righteousness,

and all these other things will be added to you.

So never be anxious about the next day,
for the next day will have its own anxieties.

Each day has enough of its own troubles." Matt. 6:33, 34.

"But we desire each one of you to show the same industriousness so as to have the full assurance of the hope

down to the end,

so that you may not become sluggish,

but be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." Heb. 6:11, 12.
