Five Minutes to Midnight on the Doomsday Clock

Contest: Five Minutes to Midnight on the Doomsday Clock

As we experience, witness, hear, read of mankind's woes
a darkness envelopes sensitive souls but emboldens those
who cash in on misery, opportunity, for power or control.

So the tick-tock of the doomsday clock back and forth goes,
but who really knows the future of man and his fabulous yet shrinking gifted land?

Should the pendulum swing right or wrong?

Will we hear a deadly gong
sooner than later
a dirge sung strong?

On whose words can we rely?
Where is the truth amid so many lies?

Does a future exist for our babies lives
or is Mars the planet where wealthy will abide?

Whose wisdom and strength can prevent a sunken dock
where fishermen once provided exquisite aquatic stock?

History here can our minds expand
about God's purpose and not man's speculative plans:

"He has established the earth on its foundations;
It will not be moved from its place forever and ever." Ps. 104:5

"For this is what Jehovah says,
The Creator of the heavens, the true God,
The One who formed the earth, its Maker who firmly established it,

Who did not create it simply for nothing, but formed it to be inhabited:

“I am Jehovah, and there is no one else." Isa.45:18.

"And there is not a creation that is hidden from his sight, but all things are naked and openly exposed to the eyes of the one to whom we must give an account." Hebrews 4:13.

"Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap". Galatians 6:7.

So, He, the Almighty will "bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” Rev. 11:18.

But: "The righteous will possess the earth,
And they will live forever on it." Psalm 37:29.

Yes, "the meek will possess the earth,

And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Psalm 37:11.

So, the doomsday's clock tick tock shouldn't us shock.

But, Jah's Word should our anxiety appease.
