Reigns of Trust

Reigns of Trust

Love is learned.
Seen.

By watching
Intently. Through creation
even gleaned.

A duck with her duckings,
Cats with their kittens,

Lionesses with their cubs
On the Serengeti Plain under vigilant gaze
Of an African king.

Pride approaches

Nuzzles
Strokes... his golden mane.

In our families

Can we imitate

This love
Respect

Designed
Structure

By a Creator
Organized

Of Vast Intelligence
Exquisite of mind?

Love is
Internally felt

After
Applied
Divine qualities:

Kindness,
Patience,
Empathy,
Compassion

Barriers melt
As icy crystals
When a sun dazzles.

The land absords the moisture.

Sprouts
Beautifully
Since of liquid glazed.

Cycles of rain
From 'The Ancient of Days'. Dan. 7:9, 13.

Love is
Not necessarily
Earned.

For first extended
Selflessly

To not yet
Existing

Humanity.

Thoughtfully given
Christ in Ransom
To Redeem mankind.

Granted
An opportunity
To live like Adam and Eve
Initially:

Perfect.
In paradise.

For an Endless span.
To Eternity.

Therefore,

In wisdom
Should we not discern:

Gratitude
Yes, thankfulness

For the Almighty's
Fatherly concern?

Because
"God is love"

In our imperfections
He did not us spurn:

"Jehovah is merciful and compassionate,
Slow to anger and abundant in loyal love.

He will not always find fault,
Nor will he stay resentful forever.

He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor has he repaid us what our errors deserve.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So great is his loyal love toward those who fear him.

As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset,
So far off from us he has put our transgressions.

As a father shows mercy to his sons,
Jehovah has shown mercy to those who fear him.

For he well knows how we are formed,

Remembering that we are dust." Ps. 103:8-14.

So, should we fear to hand over to He and His dear Son

The Reigns of Trust?
