An Eagle Flies
This eagle
in swiftness flies.
Many chase to grab hold.
Though tails will spin
in promised gales of discontent
flapping non-existent wings to die or land in angry defeat
to again climb
where wickedness resides
moralities decline
where envy
greed
murder loyalty
imprisoned
time for picnics, anniversaries,
dinners.
Loved ones
pack.
Left
one paranoid
always anxious
about money's
presence;
lack.
Negated:
Happiness.
Sedated:
never
when
'love of money'
priorities
attack.
