Slippage of tears from beneath Wayne's lids
became noticed by a father aroused from sleep.

Now, focused, fleet on silent feet
he reached Wayne's hospital bed 
to enthusiastically kiss and caress
his wrapped cool forehead sweet.

Unfamiliar to Wayne; especially in his father's
constant repeat. Since often as not, males in his family
learn to keep their emotions shaded or hid deep.

Then immediately after he became
the man Sabrina came to earlier know.
His only son to solely reclaim.
To honor tradition. No longer him shame.
No more anger to glow.

Sabrina's shoulder he harshly shook
to awaken her. Just a second
it took to recognize this change.

Suddenly, she knew
Wayne's life no longer endangered must be.

Grateful her heart soared, free to Wayne's side she attempted to fly
from a curled position in a nearby chair. Her recent camped out uncomfortable abide wonderfully supplied by this father
who, until just now, cherished her here, in this hospital, comrades to prayerfully reside.

But Mr. Wang unsympathetically blocked her way.

Instantly defeated, she began to cry intensely before this belligerent stranger appearing before weary eyes today.

Dropping to her knees, she exhaustingly pleading: "Why, Mr. Wang?... Why?

You know how much I love him!"

Though instinctively she understood.

He used her to give Wayne a reason to live. Extraordinary energy
based on a complete love motivating one to continue to try. Strenuous effort to lovingly exert; sweet memories to relive.
Squashing any desire to die.

At that moment, Sabrina's mom entered the room;
lifted her daughter from a cold floor; Mr. Kang, causing her anger to bloom.

Speaking rapidly in a bit of English, Vietnamese and Portuguese she stated:

"Mr. Kang, preciso que você vá agora! . . . Pronto! . . .The nurse está aqui to keep your aggravated child necessarily sedated." 

Under her breathe, "ngược đãi con tôi because it's me you hated."

Mr. Kang looked as if to stubbornly refuse. Thought better of it
then became amused as he turned towards the door.

"I'll be back soon. My lunch I must take.
But keep that girl from my son. Or you'll face your mistake."

He then leaves the room
his body rigid in arrogance consumed

while Sabrina wept silently
and Kim inside fumed.

Although, worried about her daughter's emotions
played with. Her mental stamina fragile since now further ostracized by Wayne's friends and family. Though, recognized by Kim as enemies of Sabrina long before this episode occurred.

Kim's maternal instincts peaked.

Her daughter to protect
physically, emotionally, and spiritually she'll try
to gather a team. Sabrina to refocus.

From a love dangerous
her daughter to de-groom. . . TO BE CONT'D
