Equilibrium . . . Maintain (Dedicated to my worldwide family detained)
O my! How the pendulum swings for us human beings.
Back-and-forth
between extremes.
Highs, then lows.
Kind, then mean.
Humble, then haughty
on the balance beam
depending on who, or what,
the dollar amount
in a bank account
their talents or authority brings.
A slave or servant who garners favor.
Or a little god to others demean.
War, then peace.
Fat or lean.
Boggles a mind on how to maintain
a semblance of sanity as our emotions soar or plummet
or take a dive
as we contrive
equilibrium
in this life
of
black or white
lightness or darkness.
Yes, many fight to fatique
imperfections to victory attain.
A small, but growing
international
minority
thriving peacefully
although unseemly
seems
as racism rockets
loyalties submit
as violence begets violence
since pride flies over peoples or tribes
and flags wave individually in skies
provided hospitably
by the Most High
who 'impartial' is:
“Now I truly understand that God is not partial,
but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." Acts 10: 34, 35.
He who
no 'righteous' man
found
worldwide
derides.
"For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. There is the same Lord over all, who is rich toward all those calling on him." Romans 10:12.
To stay solid
thus neutral
in this world
divided
on the right
on the side
not leaving
or left
Christ's
fast approaching
incoming
Righteous
not autocratic
but, Theocratic
Heavenly Regime.
Free.
Not forced to hide from Satan and his rulers. Soon jailed
for universal peace
to abide.
However,
“Continue reminding them to be in subjection and to be obedient to governments and authorities,
to be ready for every good work,
to speak injuriously of no one, not to be quarrelsome, but to be reasonable, displaying all mildness toward all men." Titus 3:1, 2.
Yet,
do as Paul admonished Timothy:
"Keep holding to the standard of wholesome words that you heard from me with the faith and love that result from union with Christ Jesus" 2 Tim. 1:13.
