With Wayne down
out of commission
Sabrina decided to whip up a sweet remedy
barring his father's permission.

^A healthy white bean chicken soup
Sabrina did prepare.
It simmering
as she hurriedly washed her hair.

Dressed casually in floral corduroy jumper
with swede boots and jacket brown matched.

Her outfit donned with utmost care
since Wayne's father with them
her lunch plus Kimchi and rice would
hopefully
deliciously
share.

Sabrina with nervous jitters did arrive
outside a mini mansion gated
lawn service necessary on a motorized ride.

Yet, behind a large smile she hid it inside
as their man directed her to a large room
removing her package and setting it aside
to take her jacket and boots. Told her:

"Wayne Sr. and Jr. will not be delayed.
Just take a seat before the fire." Blazing
it was as she toasted her hide

before sitting on beautiful leopard colored sturdy sofa cushions
in front of a low dark mahogany coffee table.
Instead of on the floor,

although part of both Wayne's and Sabrina's ethnic roots
and traditional pride. *Sitting on floor custom dying out

Wayne's mother, Deborah, like her father
only recently died.
So Wayne and Sabrina
would often in each other tearfully confide.

But his father mainly him did deride
since brought up secretly by his mother on bible reading.
She instilled in Wayne,
"under the wings of Jehovah to safely reside."

"Show me favor, O God, show me favor,
For I take refuge in you,
And in the shadow of your wings I take refuge until the troubles pass." Psalm 57:1

Why Sabrina found it difficult to break from Wayne
during his most arduous state of rebellion and hate.

Why she wanted to him relate of yesterday's text:

As "Jehovah said to Cain:
“Why are you so angry and dejected?

If you turn to doing good,
will you not be restored to favor?

But if you do not turn to doing good,
sin is crouching at the door,
and its craving is to dominate you;

but will you get the mastery over it?”" Gen. 4:6, 7.

Is not the apostle John’s statement
found at 1 John 3:1 truly worthy of our deep and appreciative reflection?

"See what sort of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God!

And that is what we are.

That is why the world does not know us,
because it has not come to know him."

With these words
“see what sort of love the Father has given us,”
urging Christians to thoughtful introspection.

The nature and magnitude of God’s love
honestly to consider.

Comprehending Jehovah’s love in these terms
deepening our love for him
strengthening our relationship with him.
Transporting us in peacefulness
like a hollowed out canoe on a clear tranquil river.

Yet, lately to Wayne
God’s love seems to be a foreign concept.

Yes, Jah is to be feared,
but intimacy with him is like kept in a traditional chest,
locked with key in palms of his father

or into a shadowed corner
deliberately swept.

Wayne's father did not believe that God existed
as Sabrina's mother Kim once also of Him not conceive.

Now, Kim feels God's love. She's learned:
Jehovah “will forgive in a large way.” Isa. 55:7.
Even after years of stubborn delay
and in utmost apathy tragically deceived.

So too Wayne might review this entire verse:

"Let the wicked man leave his way
And the evil man his thoughts;
Let him return to Jehovah, who will have mercy on him,
To our God, for he will forgive in a large way."
Before his bad associates caused him to totally sway.

In peer pressure thorough coerce.

For as David did say:

"He forgives all your errors
And heals all your ailments;

He reclaims your life from the pit
And crowns you with his loyal love and mercy."

"As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset,
So far off from us he has put our transgressions." Ps. 103:3, 4, 12

So Wayne, as she, should always be
sensitive to Jehovah’s counsel,
even his discipline,

be quick to respond.

Recognize his guidance is an expression
of his boundless love for us
eternal it's progression. Thankfully proceed.

"Because being under his anger is only for a moment,
But being in his favor is for a lifetime.

Weeping may come in the evening,
but in the morning, there is a joyful cry." Ps. 30:5.

"Hey, Sabrina!... You're a beautiful delight to our eyes."
said Wayne
causing her to quickly exit her reveries.

Yet, his father's expression was difficult to define.
Though causing butterflies in stomach to flutter, yes fly

as a darkness descended when a dove inside dived.
As anxiety in heart increased.
As a warning inside her mind did quickly enter to... permanently abide?.. TO BE CONT'D

Why are you so angry and dejected? If you turn to doing good, will you not be restored to favor? . . . Will you get the mastery over [sin]?—Gen. 4:6, 7.
That was timely counsel coupled with positive direction. Jehovah thus warned Cain when it was apparent that Cain was on a very dangerous course. Sadly, Cain did not heed that warning, and he suffered for it. (Gen. 4:11-13) When Jeremiah’s secretary, Baruch, felt weary and despondent, Jehovah gave him counsel to help him see the reality of his problem. Unlike Cain, Baruch accepted Jehovah’s counsel, and this preserved his life. (Jer. 45:2-5) “Those whom Jehovah loves he disciplines, in fact, he scourges everyone whom he receives as a son,” wrote Paul. (Heb. 12:6) Discipline, however, is not limited to punishment. It takes various forms.
